LoFi Wifi Logo (2021)
The "Lofi Wifi" logo is a unique design that effectively captures the essence of the Lofi music genre. The logo features a tape deck with a face as the main focus, with a wifi symbol incorporated in the design. The pink and purple color scheme used in the logo creates a warm and mellow tone, which adds to the overall aesthetic and appeal of the logo. The combination of nostalgia and modernity in the Lofi music genre is represented through the tape deck, while the wifi symbol symbolizes the technological advancements in the industry. The logo effectively captures the laid-back and chill vibe of Lofi music and accurately represents the brand identity of the channel. Using Illustrator, I sketched and refined the design, experimenting with different layouts, typefaces, and color combinations until arriving at a final design that effectively captured the client's desired aesthetic and brand identity for their channel. The result is a recognizable and memorable logo that effectively communicates the essence of the channel and is sure to leave a lasting impression on viewers.
To create the "Lofi Wifi" logo, I began with several rough sketches in Illustrator that incorporated elements of vintage typography and retro-style imagery to evoke the Lofi-inspired aesthetic desired by the client. I also took into consideration the client's requested pink and purple color scheme. Next, I refined the design by experimenting with different typefaces, layouts, and color combinations, while also adding the wifi symbol to represent the modern aspect of the genre. I paid close attention to the design's balance and overall aesthetic appeal. After several iterations, I arrived at a final design featuring a tape deck with a face as the main focus and the wifi symbol incorporated into the design. The color palette of pink and purple added to the overall appeal of the logo, capturing the laid-back and chill vibe of Lofi music. This project showcases my ability to understand the client's vision and create an effective visual representation that effectively communicates their desired aesthetic and message to the target audience.
